Concert tribute to the late "Mr. A" in October

Jacob Avshalomov played a big part in music education region-wide as long-time director and conductor of the Portland Youth Philharmonic (PYP). His sons, David and Daniel - now prominent international musicians - were both students at CMC. His father-in-law was even a fireman at the Francis Street Station before it became the music center!

On Sunday, October 13 at 7:30 in Kaull Auditorium at Reed College hear CMC & PYP alumni perform works in tribute to the amazing influence of the Avshalomov family on multiple generations of musicians, music students and children both globally and in the Pacific Northwest.
