The Community Music Center Inc. (non-profit partner at CMC) has received a $20,000 grant this month from the Herbert A. Templeton Foundation for need-based scholarships for youth in music programs at CMC.  The Templeton Foundation has awarded grants to CMC each year over the past several years; this year’s contribution reflects a $5,000 increase.  CMC Inc. depends on donations from many sources annually to fund over $90,000 in scholarships and program subsidy so that music students who in many cases have nowhere else to turn can find music instruction that is affordable to them.
