Students of retiring Community Music Center cello teacher Fred Nussbaum will present a concert on Thursday June 14th at 8:00 PM at CMC. In addition to recital pieces by individual students and adult classes, the grand finale will feature all the students in a 23-cello orchestra. They will play a four-part arrangement of the St. Anthony Chorale plus several variations by Fred inspired by Brahms. The group includes both youth and adults, ranging from beginners to players of many years.
There will be an opportunity to donate to CMC’s unique youth and adult music programs.
CMC is located at 3350 SE Francis Street in Portland.
