Spring Concert
A CMC & MAC Benefit May 19
Join us for a special event on Saturday, May 19 at 7:30 PM, celebrating & supporting the arts programs of the Community Music Center and Multnomah Arts Center. Faculty, student, and guest performers unite on stage to raise funds for both arts education programs.
The program includes two masterworks by J.S. Bach:
- Magnificat in D Major with the Francis Street Singers, Tracey Edson, Conductor
- Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 (selections), Gayle & Philip Neuman, recorders, Andrew Ehrlich, violin
Make reservations by April 30th and save $5 on each Individual ticket!
Chamber Music Auditions Open
Summer session now taking applications
CMC's famous and long-running two-week intensive runs July 9 - 21. Open to intermediate or advanced level musicians age 8 - 18 who'd like to work with peers at their level and experienced coaches and clinicians to put together a high-quality performance. Auditions are mid-May through early June. See the full program information, then give CMC at call at 503-823-3177 today.
Spring into Summer
Spring Term classes start the week of April 2. We have:
- new beginning classes for children age 6 mo. to 5 yrs,
- ongoing classes new 5 & 6 yrs olds can join, and
- continuing classes for all ages - youth and adult.
So, give us a call to enroll!
